Building a Successful Homoeopathic Practice

Who is giving the Course?

Jonathan Clogstoun-Willmott has run a busy practice in Edinburgh for 30 years and before that in London. Jonathan was also until recently a director of Xelplex Ltd ( a company that trains people worldwide to become experts in business marketing and management.


He has taught at many Scottish colleges of homoeopathy and knows the theory, the background, the pleasures, trials and the tribulations of being a homoeopath. Formerly a Chartered Accountant he is currently Chair of the Scottish Association of Professional Homoeopaths (


Who is the course for?

Professional homoeopaths who want to be busier. Please note that the course includes work on developing a presence for yourself on the web. We shall have access to the internet so familiarity with computers will be an asset and we suggest you bring your own laptop if you have one, enabled for wifi. The course counts towards CPD points.


What does the course cover and Will there be handouts?

We shall cover your aims, being self-employed, politics, marketing yourself and your practice, helping you recognise your unique qualities when promoting yourself, your market place, and how best and whether to advertise. Developing a web presence is a major part of the course, showing you ways to do this that work time and again. When you leave, you'll have a list of actions to take to advance your position and so attract more clients.  Handouts will help you organise your thinking and plans.


Cost for the one day course

£25 for members of the Scottish Association of Professional Homoeopaths: £55 for non-members – payable when application is accepted. £30 for Friends of SAPH, £20 for Student members.
